What part will you play?

The Expert (f/m/d) Corporate Environmental Data and Reporting supports the Head of (f/m/d) Corporate Environmental Protection Data Analytics in the setup of company-wide governance responsibility for Environmental data analytics and reporting:
  • You will colaborate in the development & implementation of new environmental KPIs on a global level
  • In Addition, you are responsible for the documentation, explanation and presentation of new KPIs to various internal stakeholders
  • Furtermore, you will support the internal and external reporting and auditing process for Siemens' sustainabilty report and ratings as well as rankings
  • You will be part of the definition process of requirements and change requests for ERP and environmental reporting systems at Siemens
  • You will drive the improvement of KPIs, data analysis and visualization as well as ETL processes
  • You will be responsible for conducting data analytics, interpreting, visualizing and presenting results
  • You will research and provide internal and external environmental data to experts
What you need to make real what matters.
  • You successfully completed your master’s degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry, environmental sciences, technical engineering, data analytics & statistics or another field with strong statistical background, preferably with a background of practical environmental protection
  • You have longterm operational experience in data analytics, many years of professional experience in supporting international and complex projects as well as many years of professional experience in intercultural cooperation
  • You distinguish yourself by profound knowledge in descriptive and predictive statistical methods and hands on experience in statistical programming languages such as R or Python
  • You can provide advanced language skills in English, German is a plus
  • Therefore, are characterized by good communication and presentation skills
  • You have strong Excel skills, and knowledge in defining ETL processes and data bases
  • Knowledge of environmental standards, policies and laws as well as business processes is a plus
  • Experience in visualizing and analyzing data with Geoinformation systems is a plus
